Welcome to my gallery. I hope you enjoy browsing images that illustrate the wonderful variety of wildlife, and the beauty - or otherwise - of nature.  Whilst bird photography is a particular passion or mine, I try to capture a mood or a moment, a butterfly in flight, perhaps a landscape where the light creates a drama, or a feeling of warmth or tranquillity.  Some species challenge our appreciation perhaps, or may even seem grotesque, but they still deserve our attention.

I work full time in the NHS, so my photography is still a hobby, and a way to enhance and share the experience of my wildlife travels.
